Surajya Nirman Pratishthan Foundation Organizes Mega Blood Donation Drive at Mantralaya, Mumbai

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 24: Demonstrating a strong commitment to social responsibility and humanitarian service, Surajya Nirman Pratishthan Foundation organized a large-scale blood donation camp at Mantralaya, Mumbai on March 18, 2026. The camp was conducted with the support of the Sir J.  J. Managar Blood Centre managed by the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC).

With the ongoing shortage of blood in mind, the initiative aimed to ensure that patients receive blood on time and no life is lost due to its unavailability. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, youth, social activists, government officials, political leaders, police personnel, and esteemed dignitaries.

A total of 174 units of blood were collected during the drive, including Cryo, Platelets, and Plasma. The success of this collection was made possible with valuable support from Ms. Neeta Dange representing the Sir J. J. Mahanagar Blood Centre managed by the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC).

The donation process was conducted in a safe, organized, and regulated manner under the supervision of experienced doctors and trained medical staff. All donors underwent necessary health check-ups and were guided appropriately throughout the process.

Speaking on the occasion, Founder-President Suraj Suresh Kute said,

“Blood donation is not merely a duty but the highest form of humanity. A small step from each one of us can save a life. If every citizen resolves to donate blood regularly, the issue of shortage can be resolved, and that itself will be a true step towards building ‘Surajya’.”

The event was attended by Suraj Kute, Bhupesh Sawant, Sanket Bobde, as well as Dr. Christine Swaminathan (President, HWARF), Dr. Smita Gaikwad, Dr. Babina Shaikh, Raizen Swaminathan, Jayesh Oswal, Mohan Vaidande, Vinod Vaidande, Santosh Bhoite, Adv. Vandana Jadhav, and several other dignitaries.

Officials from Mantralaya also actively participated in blood donation, setting an inspiring example of public service.

Surajya Nirman Pratishthan Foundation has been consistently working towards health, education, and public welfare initiatives across different sections of society, moving steadily towards the vision of “Surajya.” The organization stated that this initiative has further strengthened the values of service, unity, and social responsibility within the community.
