Summer Science Enrichment Program 2026 Begins at Gujarat Science City
New Delhi [India], May 12: The Gujarat Council of Science City has launched the “Summer Science Enrichment Program 2026” at Gujarat Science City with the objective of encouraging students’ interest in science, innovation, and experiential learning. The program will be conducted from May 12 to June 6, 2026, at the Science Dome, Gujarat Science City.
On the first day of the program, engaging and hands-on activities on the theme “Fun Physics” were organized, in which students participated enthusiastically. Concepts such as pressure, force, Newton’s laws, magnetism, motion, light, electricity, and mechanics were explained through simple and entertaining experiments.
Throughout the program, students will gain hands-on experience in various fields of science and technology. The program includes a wide range of scientific activities such as Wonders of Chemistry, Electronics Circuit Making, Mystery of Butterfly, STEM Workshops, IoT and Mobile App Development, Drone and Dynamics, Maths through Origami, Herbarium Training, Creative Toy Making, Model Rocketry, Telescope Making, Block Coding, Robotics, Plant Tissue Culture, and 3D Modelling and Printing.
Organized for students aged 14 to 18 years, the program aims to develop a scientific temperament among youth and promote awareness about STEM education. Participants will also receive certificates upon successful completion of the training. It is expected that more than 2,000 students will participate in the program.
Gujarat Science City continues its efforts to connect students and youth with science through innovative and knowledge-enriching activities.
