Ishaara Presents The Gourmet Begum: A Nawabi Culinary Revival Curated by Trinayane F&B Redefined and Chef Shahnawaz Qureshi

A forgotten era of flavour returns — gracefully, evocatively — to the table.

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], July 11: Ishaara, the favourite sign and dine destination under Bellona Hospitality (a Phoenix Mills entity), announces the Ahmedabad launch of The Gourmet Begum — an exclusive culinary collaboration that revives the quiet opulence of Awadhi cuisine. Curated by Sunaeyaa Kapur, Founder of Trinayane F&B Redefined, and executed by Chef Shahnawaz Qureshi, scion of the revered Qureshi family of Lucknow, this limited-edition menu will be available exclusively at Ishaara Ahmedabad from 8 July.

At Ishaara, food is not merely prepared — it is narrated. True to this philosophy, The Gourmet Begum does not reinvent Awadhi cuisine; it returns to it. Each dish carries whispers of a time when recipes were passed in the hushed kitchens of royal households, shaped by the refined palates of Begums, the mastery of devoted Khaansamas, and the slow, deliberate artistry of Awadhi cooking — where every simmer holds memory and every spice tells a story.

About The Menu

Rooted in meticulous research and executed with devotion, the menu spans vegetarian and non-vegetarian offerings across appetizers, main courses, breads, and desserts. Highlights include:

Pesh-e-Khuraak (Appetizers):  Palak Anardana Chaat, Arbi ke Shaami, Peeli Mirch ka Paneer, Maawa ke Seekh, Surkh Gulabi Seekh, Galawat Kebab, Habibiya Chaap, and Chef Qureshi’s Mahi Tikka.
