Sarabha Nagar campus also named among the Top 25 Emerging Schools nationally, capping a milestone year for the CBSE-affiliated institution

Ludhiana (Punjab) [India], August 19: The Shri Ram Universal School (TSUS), Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana, has been ranked the best school in Ludhiana and Punjab and placed among the Top 10 Schools in India in the Cfore 2026 school survey, one of the country’s longest-running independent appraisals of school performance. The same survey also listed TSUS Ludhiana among India’s Top 25 Emerging Schools, recognising it as one of the fastest-improving institutions in its category nationwide.

Cfore is a multidisciplinary research organisation that conducts an annual, independent performance appraisal of schools across India, evaluating institutions on parameters ranging from academic outcomes and infrastructure to teaching quality and student development. This year’s Punjab-topping, India Top-10 placement puts TSUS Ludhiana ahead of several long-established institutions in the region — a result the school’s leadership attributes to a curriculum built around both academic rigour and future-ready skills.

“This recognition belongs to our teachers, our students and the parents who trusted us with their children’s most formative years,” said Ramandeep, Director of TSUS Ludhiana. “We set out to build a school where a child masters the CBSE fundamentals without losing the curiosity, creativity and confidence they’ll need for a world that is changing faster than any curriculum can predict. Being named the top school in Punjab tells us that approach is working — and it raises the bar for what we ask of ourselves next year.”

TSUS Ludhiana is part of the Shri Ram Education legacy, a group with roots going back to 1923 that today spans more than 50 schools across 20-plus cities and nine states in India, educating over 70,000 students through a network of more than 2,500 teachers. The Ludhiana campus operates under the mentorship of Shri Educare Ltd. and is fully affiliated to the CBSE board, offering education from Nursery through Grade IX with plans to scale further as its founding cohorts advance.

The school’s early years programme — led by trained ECCE educators at a 1:12 teacher-to-child ratio — runs alongside a Grade I onward curriculum built around nine dedicated future-skill tracks, including robotics and AI, machine learning, drone technology, rocketry and design thinking, taught in dedicated labs rather than as after-school add-ons. The school also holds a 4.9-out-of-5 parent rating in Ludhiana, alongside CBSE affiliation, round-the-clock CCTV monitoring and safety-certified campus protocols.

With admissions for the 2026–27 session open for Nursery through Grade IX, the school’s leadership says the Cfore recognition will inform its next phase of investment — expanding lab infrastructure, deepening teacher training, and extending its project-led learning model further across grades.
