After graduating from Whistling Woods International, Abhishek Jain honedhis directorial craft in Mumbai under eminent filmmakers Subhash Ghai andSanjay Leela Bhansali, contributing to major feature productions including Yuvvraaj(2008) and Guzaarish (2010). His foundational experience as a RadioJockey for three years at Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM further shaped his instinct foraudience engagement and narrative pace. Returning to Gujarat, Jain foundedCineMan Productions Limited in 2010, directing and producing landmark urbanfilms such as the cult hit Kevi Rite Jaish (2012), the blockbuster BeyYaar (2014), the 64th National Film Award winner Wrong Side Raju(2016), and Maaran (2026), which secured the 72nd National Film Awardfor Best Gujarati Film as well as Best Fiction Feature Film at the 2024 ChicagoSouth Asian Film Festival. Expanding into Hindi cinema and digital media, Jaindirected the Bollywood comedy Hum Do Humaare Do (2021) starringRajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon, and the critically acclaimed web series VitthalTeedi (2021) starring Pratik Gandhi. In 2015, he authored the book AaToh Just Vaat Chhe, outlining the business models, marketing strategies,and creative framework required to sustain regional film industries.
Beyond feature films, Abhishek Jain has established a robust productioninfrastructure capable of delivering high-quality commercial content at scale.CineMan Productions has helmed over 300 brand films and TVCs across FMCG, realestate, finance, education, and lifestyle sectors. Additionally, he serves as a non-official member of the SteeringCommittee for the 57th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2026 and a jurymember for the Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes). His leadershiproles include Chairman of the Entertainment and Media Task Force at the GujaratChamber of Commerce and Industries (GCCI), Board Member of the ScreenwritersRights Association of India (SRAI), Board Member of the Gujarat LiteratureFestival (GLF), and Executive Committee Member of the PR Committee at theAhmedabad Management Association (AMA), alongside representing regional cinemaglobally at the Festival de Cannes on the CISAC Panel.
